Executive CV Supporting Letter

A "top job" requires not only a powerful CV, but a "top" covering letter!

Executive covering letters are slightly different to others in that rather than just a HR person reviewing it, it could go all the way to the top!  Spelling / grammatical errors or weak letters are useless when applying for executive roles.  A covering letter should be short, should get to the point and should be targeted specifically towards the job you're applying for!   Your covering letter should be used as a quick introduction to both you, and your CV - use this opportunity to highlight all your key selling points.

When writing your executive covering letter, you should attempt to not only demonstrate that you're experienced and capable to perform the role but you also enjoy it.  In particular, letters for interim roles will require slightly more thought than others because of the extra commitment needed as an interim.  Therefore, by showing you enjoy the role and demonstrating your passion, the recruiter can be assured that you'll be fully committed to succeed!
